Deus Manus

The game takes place on the petrified flesh of a giant celestial being’s hands. For decades, the D.E.U.S. corporation (Deep Extraction Underwriters Syndicate) has been mining it for a priceless ore that is the crystalized blood of this Celestial. They left behind giant drills designed to puncture and extract the ore. The drills are all operational and can be raised or lowered, taking players into hidden caverns and rooms where they might find upgrades and new weapons! While the level may seem small at first, the possibilities of “vertical play” makes it feel expansive - players can ride the giant drills up or down, access hard to find caverns, and learn to master the 'shrooms to take out opponents from high ground!
